Good day, miladies! This morning, I made another appearance on the NBC 10! Show.

I love that they post the videos online so that - whether or not you live in Philadelphia - I can share my beauty tips and product picks with all of my spoiled pretties.

In this morning's segment, I named five common beauty resolutions for the new year and featured fabulous products (from MAC, CoverGirl, GO SMiLE, Dermalogica and NARS) that will help you keep those resolutions.

Give it a looksee...

Get Cullen-Perfect Skin with Dermalogica

Dermalogica is a favorite brand of The Twilight Saga: New Moon. On set, Makeup Designer Norma Hill-Patton routinely used the products to create the best canvas for dressing up the vampires and werewolves.

"All of the Actors required a lot of makeup and it was on their faces for long periods of time, so we needed to take particular care of their skins," said Hill-Patton, New Moon Makeup Designer. "Vampires don't perspire, don't grow facial hair, don't get lines and certainly don’t get blemishes!

We loved Dermalogica's active moist which we used on most of the cast as it is quite universal and suits most types of skin. The precleanse was invaluable for cleansing off the body make up, especially because we had to apply a make up fixative and it was difficult to remove. But we didn't want anything that was harsh or might induce a reaction. The intensive eye repair was great for keeping the fine lines around the eyes at bay. A tiny amount patted under the eye for final checks (on top of the makeup) did wonders to diminish the lines for close ups.

And finally, the shave system kit was used on all of the guys with great success! Again, it was really important to be sympathetic to their skins as they had to have a really close shave. I'm a great fan of the close shave oil and it can be used for wet shaves or electric shaves! We even had to shave some of them in the middle of the day to maintain the smooth look to their skin!

I also loved the renewal lip complex to keep their lips smooth during the cold, windy days during exterior filming. Perfect for those up-close kissing scenes! In fact, we used a lot of the skin care on the entire Cast!"

"My daily makeup regime includes Dermalogica sunscreen, said Ashley Green (aka Alice Cullen). They also have a really great special clearing booster for spot treatment on blemishes. It's a little more involved on set with hot towel treatments and Dermalogica precleanse to get all that white makeup off. We use a lot Dermalogica products…I love the microfoliant!"

Tinsel Corey (aka Emily, the pack mother) says, "My daily skin regimen is a cleanser, toner, moisturizer. Once a week an exfoliant, and a hydrating mask. I alternate between products though, one of my favorites is Dermalogica. One of main things that also helps with my skin is taking my multi-vitamins, zinc and flaxseed oil caps."

Twilight's Ashley Greene Talks Beauty Shop

NY Beauty Secrets Examiner Gabrielle Long recently chatted up Twilight/New Moon beauty Ashley Greene, who dished about her must-have products, favorite beauty icons and the reason behind her new bob.

Here's an excerpt:

Q: What is your daily beauty regimen?
A: I started using BORBA products... they're amazing and leave my face glowing. My daily regimen usually consists of the BORBA: Age Defying Micro Diamond Cleanser, Elastin Fiber Concentrate, HD Illuminating Light Effects Serum, Orbital Eye Rejuvenator and the Age Defying Advanced Recovery Cream. To get eye makeup off, I use the Lancome remover. I also use the MAC Wipes to get all the makeup off before my regimen. And of course sunscreen...usually Kiehl's or Dermalogica. Dermalogica also has a really great "special clearing booster" for spot treatment on blemishes.

Q: Is your regimen any different when you're filming?
A: It's a little more involved on set with hot towel treatments and Dermalogica precleanse to get all that white makeup off. We use a lot Dermalogica products...I love the Microfoliant!

Q: Do you like to wear makeup when not filming, or do you prefer to go natural?
A: I don't really wear foundation...I prefer tinted moisturizer if anything. Usually after the Borba process I don't need it - my skin is in pretty healthy shape. It's usually mascara, concealer and lip gloss.

Q: You recently cut your hair (and it looks great!). Was it for your role as "Alice", or something you wanted to do for yourself? Do you prefer it shorter or longer?
A: Thanks! I cut it to make my hair fit under the Alice wig properly. I didn't have to go quite so short but I figured it's the only time I would EVER do it. I'm a long hair girl... I've had long hair my whole life. It's cute short, but I'll grow it back out.

Q: In your opinion, what makes someone beautiful?
A: I think a lot of what makes someone beautiful is how a person presents themselves. I was talking to someone the other day about how I find French woman so beautiful... it's something they possess inherently. I feel like when someone has a zest for life they come off vibrant and beautiful.

Q: What are your favorite beauty products?
A: BORBA (all of which I mentioned) and Dermalogica. I love Matrix sleek products for my hair - they work very well for me. Rose bud lip gloss is the best. YSL has a great illuminating concealer. Shiseido you can't go wrong with either... their tinted moisturizer is great. I also just found this amazing line in Europe called "Becca;" their stuff is amazing... I have to stock up when I go back because it isn't sold in the US!

Q: Who is your beauty icon?
A: Audrey Hepburn is classically beautiful.

Q: Lip gloss or lip stain?
A: Gloss...and Chapstick.

Product Polygamy Week: Skincare

It’s day two of Product Polygamy Week, and today's topic is skincare. Late to the par-tay and not sure what I’m talking about? No biggie. Click here to check out yesterday’s installment, then come back to read about the big love I’m spreading around today…

FACIAL CLEANSER
The Barb: T'Fivve Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Foam
Let’s just put it this way - when it comes to facial cleansers, I haven’t found anything closer to perfection than T’Fivve Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Foam. My skin behaves best when I’m using this product, and I find that I don’t need to use as many skincare treatments when this cleanser is in my rotation. I used up my bottle of T’Fivve Moisturizing Facial Cleansing Foam a little while ago, and my skin has been acting out ever since. Buying another bottle is #1 priority on my beauty to-do list. It’s just that fabulous.

The Nicki:
Philosophy Purity Made Simple High-Foaming Daily Cleanser
At the end of the night, it’s in your skin’s best interest to take off your face. But just the thought of scrubbing off my budge-proof eye makeup then washing my face makes me tired. Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple High-Foaming Daily Cleanser is for lazy ladies like me. In 60 seconds, it melts away all traces of makeup, dirt, oil and debris. One caveat, though - this cleanser is better suited to oily, combination and normal skin types.

The Margene:
Chanel Mousse Douceur Rinse-Off Foaming Mousse Cleanser
Chanel Mousse Douceur Rinse-Off Foaming Mousse Cleanser is formulated to balance skin with the de-pollution power of Tulip Tree Extract and the emollient properties of Mallow Extract. If your skin could talk, it would say “aaaaahhhhhhh” after you’ve cleansed with it. It’s Chanel, so it’s luxe - which means that every time you wash your mug, you feel like you’re pampering yourself. The delightfully fresh fragrance is an added bonus.

FACIAL MOISTURIZER
The Barb: Atopalm MLE Cream
Atopalm’s MLE Cream is the best moisturizer for dehydrated skin. Hands down. Every year when the weather turns cold, my skin gets very thirsty - and Atopalm is its favorite drink. I could go on and on listing the product’s virtues, but we’d both be here all day. Just do this: read my original review and then go buy Atopalm MLE Cream. You won’t be disappointed.

The Nicki: L’Oreal Skin Genesis Oil Free Lotion
If you’re Goldilocks looking for a middle of the road moisturizer - not too thick, no too thin - you’d be smart to pick up L’Oreal Skin Genesis Oil Free Lotion. It’s an overachiever because (besides moisturizing) it promotes collagen production, boosts cell renewal, improves tone and leaves skin luminescent. The only drawback is that this gem of a product doesn’t contain SPF.

The Margene:
Clinique Comfort On Call Allergy Tested Relief Cream
If you suffer from dry, sensitive and/or reactive skins, Clinique’s Comfort On Call Allergy Tested Relief Cream is dream. I could say more, but the name really sums it up - and it does live up to its title.

SKINCARE TREATMENT
The Barb: Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant
If you’ve been reading Spoiled Pretty for a hot second, you know that I am an exfoliating enthusiast. Scrubbing away my dead skin cells is my favorite beauty pastime. But when it comes to exfoliation, you can’t get overzealous; you’ll scrub your face right off. Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant lets me indulge my compulsion, but is gentle enough that it can be used on the regular.

The Nicki: Givenchy Le Soin Noir
Givenchy Le Soin Noir is so cool, I don’t know where to begin. First of all, this skin cream is black. Yes…black, on account of the Black Algae Sap Concentrate - used for the first time in a cosmetic product. Le Soin Noir hydrates and leaves your complexion firm, glowing, and even-toned. The downside? 1.7 ounces of this black magic costs $360.

The Margene: Yonka Paris Gommage
A recent trip to Terme Di Aroma, an amazing holistic day spa in Philadelphia, introduced me to my new favorite skincare treatment. With Yonka Paris Gommage, you can get that post-facial glow at home. And it’s so easy. Just apply to your face after cleansing, leave on for 5 to 7 minutes, then peel it off to reveal drop dead skin. This product exfoliates, hydrates, tones, brightens and refines enlarged pores. And get this - it’s so gentle, you can even use this on the eyelids. I don’t know why you would want to, but you can if you want. Don't you just love a product that let's a playa play? Ooh…one more thing. It’s a nighttime firming hydrating mask; apply before bedtime and sleep in it. It’s so light and the citrus scent is so pleasant that you’ll forget it’s even on as you start to count sheep. Beauty sleep, indeed.

Loofah...To The Next Level

If you enjoy exfoliating as much as I do, you absolutely must pick up Dermalogica's Ultimate Buffing Cloth. This cloth emilinates the need for exfoliating body washes and scrubs that can coat your tub/shower with slippery and gritty grains.

Once you use it, you'll tell your loofah to "hit the road, jack" and you'll never look back. The Ultimate Buffing Cloth is gentle, yet effective - and can be used with any body cleanser to reveal smooth, glowing skin. It works wonders on elbows, knees and heels...and is especially handy dandy when used on legs pre-shave. Say sayonara to stubble and hello to silky stems!
