“The Avengers” Cover Entertainment Weekly

It’s being called the “Ultimate Superhero Movie” and the stars of “The Avengers” are on the cover of the new issue of Entertainment Weekly.

Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Robert Downey Jr are all in full character as they strike a super pose.

But Mr. Renner told press that it’s not all hugs and smiles between the different superheroes. "Just because they're super heroes doesn't mean they're super friends.”

Joss Whedon added, "I was like, well, if they hate each other, I guess we can use that. But they don't." “The Avengers” hits theaters May 4th, 2012.
