Screen Gems is hard at work on ‘City of Bones’ movie production, even though they have yet to cast Jace Wayland or any secondary characters. Today, I received several renderings from a source close to the production. This is what the design team have been working on for the flying vampire motorcycles in the ‘City of Bones’ movie, the first in Cassandra Clare’s ‘The Mortal Instruments’ series.
Actress Lily Collins recently shared some other drawings but these are the next round of work ups. While these still have a futuristic look they still hold a classical feel. The pictures in the attached slide show demonstrate the transformation of the bikes before they take to the sky. What do you think?
It is important to note that these images are works in progress. Changes may still be made to them as production continues.
Cassandra Clare is currently in Los Angeles on her ‘City of Fallen Angels’ book tour. She has met with Screen Gems for updates and Tweeted earlier today that she had spoken to actor Alex Pettyfer on the phone. Could we have news soon?
