Heâs always up to something, and last night (September 1) Justin Timberlake was in the house at Irving Plaza in New York City to present the FreeSol concert.
The âLike I Love Youâ singer looked to be in fine form as he sang an acoustic version of âCry Me A Riverâ for the enthusiastic crowd.
And yesterday was a big day for Justinâs 901 Tequila brand, as the date was 9/01 or National 901 Day and the concert began at 9:01pm.
Of the gig, Justinâs business partner Kevin Ruder told press, âSince weâre sponsoring it, itâs a 21-plus show, and that helps tremendously. We donât have to worry about anyone too young being somewhere that we donât want them to be. I think it will mimic both FreeSolâs style and our own style, which is geared toward a young, edgy crowd who are looking for something a little different. Theyâre a tremendous band, theyâre young and weâve been sponsoring them from the get go because we really like what weâre about. I think it will be that 22-35 year old crowd that likes music thatâs a bit different, like urban pop with a lot of horns. Itâs just a great hi-tempo show."
