Enjoying a night out with her gal pals, Nicole Richie hit up a Los Angeles, California movie theater on Sunday evening (August 14).
The always-stylish "Simple Life" alum opted for a layered look for her BFF date, wearing a blue beanie, black and white scarf, over-sized sweater and black leggings as she headed out for the all-female excursion.
Meanwhile, the set of Nicole's new reality TV show, "Fashion Star," is apparently heating up - however, not because of the competition, but rather the friction between she and fellow mentor Jessica Simpson.
According to an insider, the two just can't see eye to eye, and often make low-blow jabs at each other, as they explained, “Producers thought pairing them on screen would mean lots of fireworks to attract viewers, but their personalities don’t mesh at all. Behind the scenes, the set is a war zone.â€
“Nicole has made a few digs about Jessica ‘throwing her weight around,’ while JesÂsica has joked that someone would have to be on a starÂvation diet to wear Nicole’s designs,†the source told press, before adding, "Now they’re barely talking, which doesn’t bode well for the show’s success â€" and it isn’t even on the air yet!â€
