James Franco: Headed Back to "General Hospital"

Heading back to the small screen for yet another gig, James Franco signed on to appear on “General Hospital.”

The “127 Hours” stud signed on to star as artist/murderer Robert “Franco” Frank for a long-term arc that will begin on September 20, according to The Wrap.

Since 2009, this will be the actor’s fourth run on the daytime drama.

James’ return to the show will come at a point in the "General Hospital" narrative when the object of his character's affection, hired gun James Morgan, prepares to marry Samantha McCall (played by Kelly Monaco).
