Hugh Jackman: “Real Steel” at Comic-Con

Checking out one of the hottest events of the summer, Hugh Jackman was spotted at the 2011 San Diego Comic-Con yesterday (July 21).

The “Australia” actor was in the house to promote his forthcoming movie “Real Steel” at a press photo call, and looked hunky posed next to one of his metal robot costars.

Of the flick, Hugh shared, “The world of human boxing is being superceded by robots who box. They’re badass. They’re unbelievable. They’re great. But the reason I love the story was the human element of it. It’s a father-son relationship.”

Jackman added, “His son turns up on his doorstep, and the two of them go on this great journey through the world of robot boxing. I’ve got to tell you, when I grew up: ‘Chariots of Fire,’ ‘Rocky,’ ‘The Champ,’ ‘Hoosiers,’ these movies, I kind of love …. Well now I’m so excited because I’m in one of those movies.”
