Amy Winehouse’s Parents Mourn at Her Shrine

Ever since news of her death hit the internet, Amy Winehouse's fans have been gathering and setting up a shrine outside her London home.

And today (July 25) the “Rehab” songstress’ parents Mitch and Janis, along with her boyfriend Reg Traviss, paid a visit to the Camden Square residence to thank the mourners there.

Mitch told them, “I can’t tell you what this means to us. It really is making this a lot easier for us. We’re devastated and I’m speechless, but thanks for coming.”

In a press release, the Winehouse family stated, "We have been left bereft by the loss of Amy, a wonderful daughter, sister, niece. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives. We are coming together to remember her and we would appreciate some privacy and space at this terrible time."
