Writer/director David Koepp, who was reportedly paid US$ 4 million for his "Panic Room" script, that made him one of Hollywood's highest-paid screenwriters, is preparing to direct his next movie.
Koepp, who recently directed "Ghost Town" for DreamWorks, which starred Ricky Gervais, will be directing a new movie titled "Premium Rush" for Columbia Pictures, reports Variety.
Koepp co-wrote the script for the movie with John Kamps. They had previously collaborated in movies including "Zathura: A Space Adventure" and "Panic Room."
The movie is about a New York City bike messenger in his twenties, who picks up an envelope at Columbia U, and ends up being chased through out the city by a dirty cop desperate to get his hands on the envelope.
Gavin Polone "Zombieland" will produce the big-budget actioner movie, which Sony is fast-tracking. Casting is set to begin very soon.
