Bernal joins Kate in "Earthbound"

Mexican actor and director Gael Garcia Bernal is set to join Kate Hudson in the romantic comedy movie, "Earthbound".

The movie is about a female terminal cancer patient (Hudson) who uses her wit and humor to deflect her suffering. She also falls in love with her doctor (presumably Bernal).

John Davis, Mark Gill & Robert Katz will be producing the movie, with Nicole Kassell in the director's chair. Script writers for the movie are Gren Wells & Lisa Loomer.

Shooting will start in January 2010.

I presume this movie to be a touching one, prepare yourself a box of kleenex & get ready for some tears-jerking moment!
